Secondary Core H&S Course + Food + Certification

This is a face-to-face day long course, it will be delivered from the 'Teaching School Building' at St James's C of E High School in Bolton, BL4 9RU on Friday 2nd May.

This course sets a solid foundation for good H&S practice within your department.  This course as an absolute must for Heads of Department and technicians. (Having two people trained within a department is a very good idea).

During the day we will build and create your 10 section H&S folder with you so you can leave ready for accreditation, we’ll cover:

•         H&S STANDARDS IN D&T
•        ESSENTIAL PUBLICATIONS 
•        HEALTH AND SAFETY TRAINING 
•         RISK ASSESSMENTS 
•         TEACHING AND LEARNING STRATEGIES  
•         COSHH ASSESSMENTS 
•        ENVIRONMENT
•        PORTABLE APPLIANCE TESTING 
•         LEV TESTING
•        MAINTENANCE OF WORK EQUIPMENT

Arrive from 9am for a 9.30 start, we'll aim to finish by 4pm
